Thanks for the message! Awh a lot of my amigurumi dolls actually can’t stand on their own! For photography purposes, I usually use a small item (like a mini perfume or a wooden spool) to prop them up. Some crafters suggest toothpicks, but they’ve never worked for me. For the bottom-heavy amigurumi (like a Totoro or my Mr Murasaki owl), you can try adding some small pebbles along with the stuffing. For amigurumi with thin doll’s legs, you can try stuffing them lightly to help them ‘stand’, but you will still have to prop something behind its back 🙂 Try it! When I heard of your book from friends I bought it immediately!
